Ngan Bui and Elspeth Collard — have each received $10,000 Davis Projects for Peace grants. Projects for Peace is an initiative supporting college students on grassroots projects designed to build peace.
Elspeth Collard, a University of Richmond senior from Alexandria, Virginia, has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious Luce Scholars Program. This nationally competitive fellowship is awarded annually to 18 graduating seniors and young alumni nationwide. Collard is UR’s second Luce Scholar.
Taking place on artificial turf in the Cousins Studio Theatre in Modlin, four University of Richmond seniors worked to bring Sarah DeLappe’s play, a 2017 Pulitzer Prize Finalist, to campus through a Productions Studies III capstone project.
